At Enabling Qapital, we are inspired by success stories like that of Ulzhas Agatayeva, an enterprising woman from Shymkent, Kazakhstan, and a valued end client of one of our partner microfinance institution, Solva.

Since its establishment in 2016, Solva has been dedicated to introducing and developing accessible financial services, supporting Ulzhas and countless others on their entrepreneurial journeys. Solva's commitment to financial inclusion is evident in its reach: serving over 119,489 borrowers, with 73% based in rural areas and 33% women entrepreneurs like Ulzhas.

Comprehensive Support Beyond Financing

Ulzhas, a determined mother of four, defied industry norms by establishing a business producing specialized detergents for car washes. Initially facing skepticism due to gender stereotypes, she persevered with the backing of Solva and its tailored financial solutions.

Beyond financing, Solva empowers clients through mentorship, educational programs, and a robust community network. Platforms like "Women's Business" facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration among female entrepreneurs across Kazakhstan. With Solva's support, Ulzhas optimized her supply chain, sourced materials locally, and expanded her operations. Her success not only enhanced her family’s livelihood but also created employment opportunities for others in her community.

Looking forward, Ulzhas plans to scale her business nationwide and launch an online store, setting new benchmarks in her field and inspiring other women to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.
