Why Enabling Qapital?

I am inquisitive about impact investment and truly believe it is one of the key drivers to economic development and inclusive growth in the emerging markets, EQ’s mission of “Moving Money to Meaning” and the learning opportunities with a growing organization resonates with my career goals.

Duties of work?

Working with the Investment team in South and SouthEast Asia to deepen EQ’s footprints in the emerging markets. My primary responsibility would include identifying and onboarding investees, business origination, deal execution and monitoring of investments.

What’s the most exciting part of your job?

Travelling and meeting new people, the best way to learn.

What were you doing before working here?

I was with Norther Arc Capital, a platform in Financial Services sector catering to the diverse credit requirement of the underserved household and businesses in India. Closely working with the microfinance sector team managing over $300 mm debt portfolio in more than 50 Financial Institutes.

What are you really bad at?

Dancing, I just cannot dance.

Do you have any phobias?

Aquaphobia, I almost drowned in one of the largests lake in India.
