What inspired you to join Enabling Qapital?

I was drawn to Enabling Qapital because of its people and their values. It's inspiring to work with a team that has a strong sense of purpose. Traveling to meet the super-talented team, and to see how everyone is so focused on trying to make a difference, has been such a pleasure.

What are your key goals in this role?

My goals are to ensure Enabling Qapital maintains its focus on risk excellence and its sustainable long-term performance. Additionally, I aim to bring a diverse perspective to the board with my experience in different asset classes, particularly in impact and ESG measurement and reporting.

Which aspects of our culture or mission resonate with you?

Enabling Qapital emphasizes developing its people and teamwork recognising that its team is its greatest asset. To achieve its objective of promoting sustainable economic development in a range of developing and emerging countries, a diverse team with a range of skills is essential.

In addition to teamwork, I value good risk processes. Being risk-averse, I rely on robust risk frameworks and my colleagues to ensure we take calculated risks and seize good investment opportunities. Enabling Qapital's risk management processes are well-thought-out and it is crucial how they are integrated into every aspect of investment decision-making and monitoring.
