Enabling Qapital onboards a new Microfinance Mandate

Enabling Qapital onboards a new Microfinance Mandate, surpasses USD 800 million AUM and expanding its reach to more than half a million end clients in emerging markets.

Zurich, January 2026; Enabling Qapital now manages more than USD 800 million on behalf of institutional investors primarily in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The firm’s focus on Private Debt and Microfinance continues to deliver measurable impact, enabling financial inclusion for almost one million end clients across emerging markets.

As of January 1st, Enabling Qapital has onboarded the Finethic Microfinance Fund. Finethic was founded in 2006 and is rooted in a conviction that financing entrepreneurial projects is a more sustainable path to improving lives than traditional humanitarian assistance. Through a Luxembourg fund structure, Finethic refinances microcredit institutions, directing capital to where it can strengthen local entrepreneurship and broaden access to essential financial services.

Remo Oswald, Co-Founder of Enabling Qapital:

“Surpassing the USD 800 million milestone reflects the trust leading Swiss institutions place in Enabling Qapital. It underscores the strength of our Private Debt and Microfinance expertise and our commitment to delivering impact-driven investment opportunities with robust performance. With the integration of the Finethic Microfinance Fund, we expand our reach to responsible microfinance institutions empowering entrepreneurs to build resilient livelihoods that uplift families and communities. At the same time, we broaden our Fund Jurisdictions with the addition of a Fund Platform in Luxembourg, offering our investors greater flexibility and access.”

Jacques Grivel, Initiator of the Finethic Microfinance Fund:

“Since 2006, our mission has been deeply rooted in social impact, with a clear focus on supporting smaller and more modest Microfinance Institutions. Over the years, we have been grateful for the trust placed in us by the pension fund industry, which we have served with an original and consistently high-performing product.

Today, nearly twenty years after the launch of our first strategy, we are entering a new chapter. Joining forces with Enabling Qapital, a market leader in impact investing with an exceptional track record in microfinance, provides us with renewed energy, a fully aligned vision, and a strengthened sense of purpose.

We are delighted to partner with Enabling to reinforce our processes, enhance governance, and broaden our reach to end-clients in emerging markets. This collaboration not only increases the return potential for our investors but also deepens our long-standing commitment to financial inclusion.

By continuing to work with smaller Tier 2 and Tier 3 institutions through the Finethic Fund, we concentrate our efforts where impact is most meaningful: generating tangible benefits for both micro-borrowers and investors.”

A strategy built for scale and impact
